Pamela & Michael D. Smith
A native of Cass County, Missouri, Michael grew up in an 1880 farmhouse with its fair share of unseen visitors. After earning B.A. and M.A. degrees in history and spending several years in journalism, he became a professional genealogist after creating Leaves and Branches Genealogy. As a result of these accumulated experiences, he brings tried and true research methods to each investigation, and is passionate about finding the exact right tools to capture evidence.
Born with an artistic soul in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Pamela learned from an early age that she had a special connection with those who have passed on. Following a diverse career as a leader and teacher in the medical field, she moved to Kansas City and married Michael. What started as a hobby led to a mutual passion. Pamela has a gift for sensing spirits and making them, and the living, comfortable communicating.
The goal of PMS Ghost Hunting is to help clients better understand what is going on in their home or business—determining if it's paranormal or just natural occurrences. Pamela and Michael strive to put clients at ease and assist them with learning how to live with the unexplained without disrupting their lives. They also enjoy leading tours of haunted locations, letting guests use equipment to investigate for themselves. As the PMS slogan goes: "Anytime of the month is a good time of the month to go ghost hunting!"

Just yourself, comfortable shoes, and a sense of adventure. We provide some state-of-the-art ghost hunting gear, flashlights, and even some light snacks/water. You are welcome to bring your own equipment.
Yes. Every location we visit has a rich, documented paranormal history and consistent reports of unexplained activity from credible sources and previous teams.
We offer specific family-friendly daytime and evening hunts for younger investigators 10+! Our late-night extreme hunts are restricted to ages 16+ (with guardian) or 18+.
Most of our hunts are primarily indoors within historic structures. If severe weather affects an outdoor segment or makes travel dangerous, we will reschedule your ticket for free.
